About the Training
This 3-hour training prepares clinicians to deliver ethical, legal, and effective telehealth services. Participants will review key standards, including the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics and HIPAA compliance, along with informed consent and jurisdictional considerations. The course also covers practical skills such as building rapport, conducting assessments, and managing risk in virtual settings. Emphasis is placed on confidentiality, secure technology, and best practices to ensure quality care and compliance with LPC board requirements.
Objectives
