Langley Laporte, MEd, LPC

Langley Laporte is a Licensed Professional Counselor from Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. She is passionate about helping individuals create meaningful change, improve emotional well-being, and build lives aligned with their values. Langley earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2015. She then worked for four years at Gulfsouth Autism Center as a Certified Line Technician, providing therapeutic services to children ages 2–8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This experience strengthened her foundation in behavioral approaches, family collaboration, and developmentally informed care. She later earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Orleans, completing her practicum and internship at Jewish Family Service of Greater New Orleans. There, she worked with adults, young adults, teens, couples, and families addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal challenges, and life transitions. Over the past three years, Langley has provided therapy in both inpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) settings, focusing on substance use, trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, grief, and co-occurring mental health concerns. She is trained in trauma-informed care and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for adults. Langley’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. She integrates evidence-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves while developing skills that support lasting growth and resilience.
